Merry May All You Marvellous Ones!! I hope that you are all finding time to drop into the beauty of Spring. There is aliveness and green shine everywhere. Wow!!! There is an invitation to open all of your senses as you absorb and breathe in the magnificence of creation in all its blooming and growing glory! The only response is one of great gratitude.

Thank you… thank you… thank you!

It feels like a long time since my last Wild Wondering…a whole month. April was definitely fuelled by the energy of grace and change. I spent valuable healing time with my family in Ontario. We shared our sorrows and joys as we grieved and celebrated the life of our mother. I felt your support and love. I am including my mother’s obituary in this post… it will give you a brief snapshot of my family, if you are curious. I felt honoured to write it.

I am grateful to be home and excited to see some of you this Sunday for our Wild Seeds of Light gathering. We will meet at the yoga studio. The move to outside is coming soon with warmer temperatures. The plan is to change locations during the summer months…pop up gatherings…I will keep you posted. Please let me know if you have a special place in mind. It needs to accessible and not too far from Halfmoon Bay.

Here is a wee prayer of reverence for the month of May…

May the angels of light
glisten for us this day
May the sparks of God’s beauty
dance in the eyes of those we love.
May the universe
be on fire with Presence for us this day.
May the new sun’s rising
grace us with gratitude.
Let Earth’s greenness shine
and its water breathe with Spirit.
Let heaven’s winds stir the soil of our soul
and fresh awakenings rise within us.
May the mighty angels of light
glisten in all things this day.
May they summon us to reverence,
may they call us to life.

Praying with the Earth

As the Earth comes to life we are invited to move and dance with all of creation and one another. The cycle of life is ever changing and so are we. Life becomes so much easier when we are able to find joy in the ordinary and in the turmoil. We can retreat into nature to rebalance and restore ourselves as we put our bare feet on the ground and our hands in the soil. What a gift it is to move and dance through all the changes and shifts required of us. We become more resilient as we persevere and there is hope and trust in each new day.

The song for this week is entitled, “Happy”, by a German band called Bukahara. It is the perfect piece to bring a smile to your face and lightness to your feet. We have been dancing to it at Sacred Play… so much fun! It is a joy filled reminder to move, to dance, to connect and care for another. Happiness is for sharing! May it be so.

Love and Light,
Jacqueline
